Had dinner with my family at Pacific Seafood Restaurant at Toorak Rd. Good food, good price, simply fantastic. Well, fantastic aside from the $118AUD fish we got conned into ordering. We thought it was a normal sized fish that is chopped in 2 and cooked in 2 different ways with other meat and such. Sounds tasty, sounds good. Pricewise though, not good. 118 bucks fish. C’mon, thats fucking expensive mate. Thats equals to about 12 movies at the cinema or half a year worth of World of Warcraft game time. >.>
Then again, theres an even more expensive fish out there. It costs about $300,930.41 AUD (30 million Yen). The 80cm/32″ robot was developed by Ryomei Giken, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd, in conjunction with two other companies in Hiroshima, western Japan. It was created to analyze water quality, shoot pictures with its CCD camera, and swim around in a life-like manner via remote control. Apparently this expensive piece of fish is the fifth in a series of robotic fish developed by Ryomei Engineering.

Just found out my ‘korkor’ (dad’s sis) has Uterus Cancer and is in the late stages. Last we heard was it has spread to the stomach and neck. Her husband quit work as a professor for the past 6 months and my cousin resigned from her job to take care of her. Sigh. Very depressing news indeed. Anticipation of my family coming to Melbourne for a visit has been dampened with this piece of bad news.
Sometimes it makes me wonder, why do innocent people suffer? Innocent people tends to suffer alot more than bad people and the evil seems to live unscathed. Why is it that the wicked seemed prosper?
This passage from a book I’ve read may shed some light.
Grief and sorrow do not come to us by chance; they
are sent by the Divine Mercy for our perfecting. When
grief and sorrow come, then will a man remember his
Father Who is in Heaven, Who is able to deliver him from
his humiliations. The more a man is chastened, the greater
is the harvest of spiritual virtues shown forth by him.

Hmmm, so my parents are arriving at 7am tomorrow. My room is in a mess, stacks of papers and books sprawling on my desk and my floor, jackets and jumpers in piles on the floor, unmade bed, wires from various charges under my desk, side-table and bed, dust covered equipment and furniture etc. So what do i do u ask? Well, theres is only one thing to do:

Yep thats right push the PANIC BUTTON! Cool button to have eh? Well, you could order your very own one here.
On a side note, my good friend Chris made a featured comic on my dilemma, whilst to a certain extent its kinda true, there is one thing i would absolutely like to do for defaming with me using my GF as an excuse, that is:

Take that dude! Btw, if you are wondering, the game devil told me that punching Chris will net me 1500 Bonus Points.

And guess which one usually wins? (By play i mean the word, not the picture, but i wouldn’t mind that if my gf was here.. heh =p)

Already own a DS and always wanted to be able to read comics on your DS instead of gaming whilst traveling/commuting? (Well i do!! I’ve always wanted to read my Batman Chronology, Hellsing and Heroes manga whilst commuting to uni) Look no further for Gnese has released a Homebrew software for the DS that lets you do just that. There are 2 parts involved in getting it to your DS. This is assuming you already have a Hombrew enabled DS. (I’m not going to divulge information on how to get it done. Potential legal issues and all. Google it)
The first part is the PC part, where you used a software called PictoDS (developed byNicom00k) which converts your pictures into a .cbds file (those pictures can be in a folder, a .zip, a .cbz, a .cbr, a .rar.)
The second part is the DS part, where you used a Homebrew called ComicBookDS (developed by Gnesse), which allows to display those .cbds files in a fast, pleasant and intuitive way.
To get it, click here to get to the official site.

Now all I need now is a pdf reader for my lecture notes …… nah >.>

There I was, happily sitting in front of the TV watching Lost Tribes whilst eating my dinner and my sis blew up on me.. She just blasted me for speaking about the allowance we get from our dad to my gf, my uni fees, my daily expenses. I mean what the hell?… And for your info, I’m OLD enough to decide what to disclose and what not to disclose. Geez.
What is wrong with her anyway. Its that one thing I don’t like about her. Shes very short tempered and sensitive to stuff. Cut me some slack.

I was under the impression that as a receiver of a Registered Mail, the postman was suppose to ring my doorbell to deliver the mail to me where i would sign the acknowledgement of receipt. I called the post office earlier to see if my mail has arrived and they say I would be receiving it today. So, based on their advice, i stayed home all day awaiting my mail. Out of curiousity i went out to check my mail and there was a card there asking me to collect my postal article at the Toorak Post office.

I was very annoyed that the postman did not even bother to ring my doorbell and personally give my registered mail to me as it is his job even though i was home all day. Now, I’ve to make a trip to the Toorak Post Office which is NOT the closest post office to my location (Hawksburn is the closest to my address), to collect it the next day.
Bastards.
