Ever since I’ve started working full time, time has become scarce for me. My backlog of games are steadily piling up, Warhammer Online level is lagging behind my hardcore friends and I’m always tired by the time I get home.
I’m very blessed to be able to get a job in the current global credit crisis climate. A lot of people has been laid off over the past few weeks and I am holding on to this job for dear life. It is a very good working environment but in really drains my brain juice.
As much as would want to update my blog frequently like before, its hard with limited free time. At the moment I’m still sorting out some financing issues for the next few months, while squeezing in some gaming time in between.
Hopefully by next year when I’ve sorted out those stuff, I would be able to blog more often.
V: It is to Madame Justice that I dedicate this concerto, in honor of the holiday that is sadly no longer remembered, and in recognition of the impostor that stands in her stead. Tell me Evey, do you know what day it is?
Evey Hammond: Um, November the 4th.
V: [midnight church bells ring] Not anymore. Remember, remember the 5th of November. The gunpowder, treason, and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.
A quote from one of my most loved movies/graphic novels of all time. V for Vendetta. Although today is the fifth of November, it is not what this post is about.
Fall is a season of games. November is the last month of the fall season in the Northern Hemisphere. Many games are released during fall and especially during the last month before winter and by extension Christmas season starts.
A great deal of games have been released since September including Warhammer Online, Dead Space and Fallout 3. And in the next few weeks, I have:
30/10/08 – Valkyria Chronicles (Still waiting for my copy to arrive)
07/11/08 – LittleBigPlanet
12/11/08 - Guitar Hero World Tour: Complete Band Game (Guitar, Drum, Mic … Big FNL soon ^_^?)
13/11/08 – Mirrors Edge
13/11/08 – MotorStorm: Pacific Rift
20/11/08 – Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm
27/11/08 – Resistance 2
04/12/08 – Prince of Persia
The sad thing about it all is that I’m stuck at work during the weekdays and playing catchup to my hardcore friends in Warhammer Online during the week nights and weekends! (I’m looking at you CC and Daryl >.<!)
Most of you have played MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm demos over the weekend and loved it. I’m getting those two games and Guitar Hero World Tour just for you guys =) Now someone just needs to buy an HDTV so I don’t have to lug my monitor around =x
