About Me

If you ever have the chance to look up Video Game Addict in the dictionary, you would probably find my face printed there. According to my peers, my fanaticism concerning video games is the stuff of legends. Okay, i was just kidding about the dictionary part but it is just a matter of time, you’ll see. I was exposed to gaming at a young age of four with the introduction of a Nintendo Entertainment System.

When I last counted, I’ve played a total of 400+ games from the classic NES games to the next-gen PS3. My preferred gaming platform is the PC. I currently own a Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, Sony Playstation One, Sony Playstation 2, Sony Playstation Portable, Sony Playstation 3 and an awesome PC. I do not bash consoles as I believe games are games, doesn’t matter which consoles/gaming platforms they are on. That being said, the console/platform with games that appeal to me will get my money. Currently saving up for a Nintendo Wii and an Xbox 360, though progress is slow.

My gaming genre of choice are RPGs, Turn-based strategies, action and platforming. First Person Shooters are at the bottom of my list, mainly because of the stereotypical ego-istic, adrenaline-pumped teens that can’t spell/read/comprehend basic English and the inability to form three sentences without including obscenities. That being said, not all FPS-ers are like that. Resistance: Fall of Man and Warhawk are currently changing my perceptions though.

Currently, I’m working full time and have an outstanding wife who is always at my side. And yes, she shatters the age-old myth that girls don’t play video games =D My other interest includes anime, Japanese culture, reading and just slacking. This blog is about my thoughts on everything that happens around me with the occasional reviews/rants/news.

And to reiterate: I HATE CONSOLE FANBOYS/GIRLS with a PASSION
